MARIA SABRINA BRONZINO CESARIO (ITALY)– Student Pre-Evaluation Survey Analysis

 These are the results and the analytical report about the initial survey administered to 134 students participating in the eTwinning project MATHOPOLIS. It ws fully translated into the three official languages of the partner countries (Italian, Turkish, Romanian).

1. GENERAL OVERVIEW OF THE SAMPLE
A total of 134 students from partner schools in Italy, Turkey, and Romania participated in the initial survey. The survey aimed to identify the initial attitude towards mathematics, the use of digital tools, the English language, and collaborative work.

2. ATTITUDE TOWARDS MATHEMATICS
• I like mathematics: 82% (110 students)
• I find mathematics difficult: 24% (32 students)
• I like mathematical challenges and games: 89% (119 students)
Analysis: Most students show a high interest in the discipline, especially when it is presented in the form of a game or a treasure hunt.

3. DIGITAL SKILLS AND AI TOOLS
• I regularly use a tablet/PC at school or at home: 91% (122 students)
• I know/have already used Artificial Intelligence tools (e.g., Gemini AI, Canva): 65% (87 students)
• I am excited about creating cartoon images and videos with AI: 94% (126 students)
Analysis: Strong predisposition to the use of technologies and great curiosity in applying generative AI (Gemini AI, Google Vids) for multimedia content.
